it all started over boba. for our first date, we skipped the small talk and dove straight into the things that truly matter: the values shaped by our taiwanese and bulgarian roots, our dreams of family and adventure, and what we both hoped love could be. it was honest and vulnerable, and from the very start, it just felt easy.

from there, our connection grew as naturally as it began. our days filled with laughter over car memes — kat admiring the aesthetics while kosyo detailed the engines — and a shared love for joshua weissman recipes. we found joy in the simple things, in the tiny ways we could make each other's world a little brighter.

just two months later, bridging the distance between los angeles and san francisco, we took a leap of faith and moved in together.
